The FairTax Book Again #1 NY Times Bestseller
August 29, 2005 · Filed under: Book Tour, Media Citings
The Kansas City Star shows that the FairTax Book is back atop the New York Times nonfiction bestseller list.
Apparently, last week’s dip on the charts, when the book dropped to a lower position, was caused by the fact that so many bookstores had sold out of the book, and were awaiting new shipments.
Strangely, the list on the New York Times web site seems not to be showing the latest information. And they don’t publish the date in their online edition of the list, so it’s hard to tell if it’s a mistake or just a slow update.
In today’s Nuze, Boortz notes that the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, too, posted an old list rather than the newest one.
It’s enough to make you wonder. I mean, really.

No, it doesn’t make me wonder. The AJC is very dedicated to the status quo - they’ve been the only paper in this town for so long they figure that whatever THEY support is the right and ONLY way to go. And they dislike exceedingly the idea that they might NOT have the influence on the Atlanta area they’d like to have.

Well duh, AJC and WSB radio (Boortz’s home station) are both owned by Cox.
