Libertarian Party Debates Endorsing FairTax
August 30, 2005 · Filed under: Political Support
The Libertarian Party is debating whether or not the FairTax bill warrants their endorsement.
A key bone of contention is whether the bill is pristine enough to meet their impeccable standards or whether they should just stick to promoting, say, the legalization of marijuana.
One Response to “Libertarian Party Debates Endorsing FairTax”

Marijuana decriminalization, whereas important, has become a black eye for the LP. The party has made little gain on the issue and critics use it as a way to discredit the party as a whole.
Taking a stand on the CAPITALIST principles of the party could launch it back into legitimacy.
