Two New Cosponsors in the House
Two more representatives sign on to the Fair Tax Act of 2005. Rep Spencer Bachus [R AL-6] and Rep John Sullivan [R OK-1] are now co-sponsors. Both representatives were previously listed on the scorecard as “Leans For”.
The other six representatives from Alabama are evenly split between “Leans For” and “Will Not Commit.” The senators are split between “Leans For” and “Leans Against.”
Oklahoma shows slightly better support with three “Leans For” and one “Will Not Commit” in addition to Representative Sullivan’s co-sponsorship. The Senators are either “For” or “Leans For.” Representitive Sullivan said “I am proud to support this revolutionary approach to taxation in the United States. I believe that H.R. 25, the Fair Tax Act of 2005, is a step in the right direction to reduce the complicated and cumbersome taxes that the American people must endure. Most notably, the Fair Tax will let the American people, not Washington bureaucrats decide how to spend your hard-earned money.”
This is an excellent opportunity to write new letters on the following subjects:
1. Send a letter of support and appreciation to Representatives Bachus and Sullivan.
2. Send a letter to your own representative citing the new co-sponsorship and ask for their support and co-sponsorship.
3. Send a letter to your senators citing the new co-sponsorship in the house and challenge them to also demonstrate leadership with their own co-sponsorship.
4. Write your states’ governor, senators, and assembly members.
5. Write your local paper asking for more coverage and ask the paper to solicit comments from Rep. Bocas, Sullivan, or your own local representatives.
We need to get this new support in the media news cycles of Alabama, Oklahoma, and all other states.

Jerry Springer ENDORSE THE FAIR TAX on Fridays show :: I just heard Jerry Springer ENDORSE THE FAIR TAX on Fridays show - “as long as it’s graduated** and first 20K is not taxed”. I don’t know exactly what “graduated” means. PLEASE CONFIRM!
Jerry Springer is likely talking about the Family Consumption Allowance (FCA). The FCA is also known as the prebate. The FCA untaxes purchases up to the poverty level.
