The FairTax Portal

May 2, 2006  ·  Filed under: News, Reviews

It has been awhile since I have contributed to this site, however, it seems to have been plenty busy without me. In catching back up to where we currently stand in the on going FairTax discussion, I ran across a web portal that Congressman Linder has established.

It seems to be very well organized and up to date. Highlights of the site include a state by state action guide, sponser bios, and ways to get involved in the grass roots effort to support the FairTax.

So, take a moment and check it out.

  1. Off-Topic: Did anyone else see Newt Gingrich’s “Winning the Future” newsletter on the 1st? In it he comments on the simplification of the tax system, and the FairTax (and Forbes’ Tax Choice plan) in particular.

Apparently Newt has been getting letters from FairTaxers a lot.

  2. As a Florida candidate for the U. S. Senate, I support the FairTax and I will sign off on the bill as soon as I take my U. S. Senate seat. Hence, It is imperative that all FairTax supporters do everything possible to help ensure my victory. Please visit my website at www.noah2006.com to make a contribution and to find out more about my campaign. Also, please spread the word about my candidacy to as many people as possible.

    Thank you.

  3. Chuck Ahner, a Congressional FairTax candidate, spoke to a lively crowd at
our local FairTax group in Wichita, KS yesterday, urging us to educate the
masses on the FairTax. He was great - I wish we had congressional
candidates like Chuck in every race because he makes the FairTax the corner
stone of his campaign. He graduated from West Point, apparently was a
Rhodes Scholar nominee, and is very active in the Kansas City business
community, plus he gets it! The only way we are going to make progress is
to elect people to Congress like Chuck. What a national statement it would
make to get Chuck elected - I was so impressed that I gave him the maximum
donation of $2100 even though I am not from his district and many others
whipped out their . He said he has been getting $50 and $100 checks from
across the nation. I urge you to support him as well. His web site is
at www.ahnerforcongress.com and his address is Ahner for Congress, PO BOX
25812, Shawnee Mission, KS 66225. I can’t wait to get this FairTax passed and remove the IRS milestone from around our necks!!!

  4. What’s Going On With The Fair Tax

The campaign for the “Fair Tax continues. The grass-roots movement is alive and well. Almost one year after the release of The Fair Tax Book, the effort continues. Check out all of these relevant links, and keep talking the talk. Thanks to Neal Boortz...
