FairTax Supporter: Congressional Candidate Chuck Ahner of KS

Overland Park, KS - The original sponsor of the Fairtax and co-author of The Fair Tax Book: Saying Goodbye to the Income Tax and the IRS, Congressman John Linder (R-GA), has endorsed Chuck Ahner for United States Congress and will be coming to Overland Park on October 16 to support his campaign and help bring awareness to the proposed Fairtax legislation.
Chuck Ahner supports a comprehensive reform of the United States tax code, which would ease the compliance burden on American taxpayers, and make American workers more competitive. Fellow FairTax proponent, Congressman Steve King (R-IA), comments “Mr. Ahner well-understands the fiscal needs of our nation and would help to make our country more competitive in the world economy if he were elected to Congress.”
The local chapter of Americans for Fair Taxation and the Ahner for Congress campaign will be co-sponsoring an informational rally with Congressman Linder on behalf of the FairTax at 2:15pm in Rosanna Square, just outside of the IRS building, 7600 W 119th St, Overland Park, KS 66213-1106. Media is encouraged to attend, and the event is open to the public.
