New Moderator?

I’m hitting a busy spell with work and it would help a lot if I could turn over moderation responsibilities to someone, one of our active bloggers on the site.
If I’m not mistaken, any of you who post to the site have the ability to moderate comments. I just need to make sure you receive notification of any comments that are pending moderation as well.
My expectations for moderation are simple: Don’t approve anything snarky, sarcastic, or likely to lead to flame wars.
Any takers?

Hell, he’s retired, so he’s got nothing else to do.
And he’ll let us slip in a few good jabs as fairtaxgroups.org while he’s at it.
I wouldn’t mind, except that I don’t get to hit the site sometimes for a few days and some people might get queued up for a bit. Also I will likely be out of town in the near future so I probably am not the best bet.

James: Thanks - let’s see if anyone else is available to help fill in the gaps. However, in general, feel free to moderate as you’re able. Can you confirm, are you able to see comments yet before they are approved?
Yes I can moderate comments and post, retrieve messages from Akismet spam if necessary, but nothing else to my knowledge. I have moderated a few in the past (apologies if I was jumping the gun back then).
Who else is posting these days?
Hm, good question, James. I guess you’ve just been prolific enough that I assumed you were a few different people.
Looks like it’s just been you and me lately.
I’m adding Mark Bostleman to the list of posters as well. Perhaps between you and Mark, you can keep the comments under control.
I am going to need to hide out for a while, as I was saying, so I appreciate your help in keeping the comments moderated.
Parden my ignorance, but how do you start a new topic/post?
I think you have to have a poster login account to get access to the blog admin software, etc.
I have no idea how to add accounts; I believe Joshua reserves the ultimate blog powers for himself.
Speaking of which though; Joshua, I don’t currently get emails when new comments need management. I get emails alerting me to new responses to posts I wrote, but that’s it.
